Derek Page, Senior Minister
Derek is married to Carrie and they have three children. He grew up in the North East of England and became a Christian as a teenager. He worked in youth work in Edinburgh and Bournemouth. Derek trained at Moorlands College and Spurgeon's College, London, and has worked in the past with Saltmine Trust. He has been the Senior Minister at RBC since 1985. He enjoys music, walking, cooking and the ups and downs of following Newcastle United FC.
Barry dore, assistant minister
Barry grew up in Ireland, but has been living in the UK for most of his adult life. After attending an Alpha course, Barry became a committed Christian in his early 20s. His previous career was in greenkeeping and sports turf maintenance. Barry went on to train at London School of Theology and worked as an Assistant Minister at Park Street Baptist Church. He joined RBC in September 2016. Barry is married to Chrissie and has two children. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, supporting Liverpool and watching real-life documentaries.
John Reynolds, Youth Worker
John is married to Jade, and they have one son. He grew up in Kent and became a Christian when he was 17. He did a couple of gap years at his home church, before leaving to study theology at London School of Theology. Upon graduating, he got a job as youth & children's worker at a church in Bromley and he joined RBC as youth worker in February 2015. He enjoys films, comedy and supports Spurs.
Lucy Newton, Children's Worker
Lucy joined the team as Children’s Worker in September 2016. She is married to Andy and they have four children. Lucy is a trained Nursery Nurse and has worked at Lady Bankes and Queensmead schools. She grew up in Pinner, attending Oldfield Baptist Church in Greenford, before undertaking a gap year with Redcar Baptist Church in the North East of England. Lucy and Andy were members of Rayners Lane Baptist for 15 years where she ran the Toddler groups and Holiday Bible Club. Lucy enjoys gardening, music, walking and spending time with her family.
Jill Durn, Pastoral Co-Ordinator
Jill's role is to co-ordinate the pastoral care needs in the church. This means being aware of any issues that people have and then finding suitable people who can help them - be it occasional, practical help or the on-going support of someone who is experiencing a difficult time in their life. Jill is married with 3 children. Before being a full-time mum, Jill studied Geography at Royal Holloway, University of London and then worked in market research. She joined the staff team as Pastoral Care Co-ordinator in September 2016.
Gillian Rose, Administrator
Gillian is married to David and they have two children. After completing a degree in Psychology she worked for a while in a HIV/AIDS centre in London before taking on the role of Administrator in July 2003.
Marie Dendy, Admin Assistant
Marie is married to Mark, they have two teenage daughters and have been part of Ruislip Baptist Church since 2003. She gained a degree in Art and worked for a textile company, in retail and as a recruitment consultant before having her children. She initially joined the staff covering maternity leave in 2009 and since then has continued to work both voluntarily and paid in the church office. Her role is to assist Gillian in the office and with her support of the leadership team.
Helen Yarrow, Outreach Resource Co-Ordinator
Helen is married to Tim, and they have three grown up children. She has been attending RBC for over 25 years and has helped lead our Holiday club for a number of years. Like Marie she initially joined the staff covering maternity leave. As Outreach Resource coordinator her role is to develop opportunities to engage and reach out into our local community.
