How many year's have you been coming to Holiday Club and what do you like most about it?
17 (I think)! Last year’s holiday club was very memorable, I loved working alongside such a talented up front team - still shocked that Harry was the one voted in the gunge! #carys2023?!?
What's your favourite Holiday club song and why?
I’m afraid I can’t choose a favourite… too many great songs!
What do you do in your spare time, what hobbies do you have, have you got a talent or 'thing' you love doing?
I love going on holiday. But when I can’t afford to go on holiday I enjoy going out with friends and catching up with my favourite TV shows.
This year HC is all about being at a Christian surf camp, have you ever been to a christian camp and can you tell us a bit about it?
I have, alongside many of my best friends. It was wonderful to have some dedicated time to focus on my faith and cement friendships with other Christian’s. They were always so much fun - we took part in silent discos, campfires, colour runs and so much more!
Can you tell us a bit about your favourites - food, colour, films (child friendly) celeb, sport etc
I love my food - pretty much every kind, except for sun dried tomatoes, pesto and baked beans. My favourite colour changes but some firm favourites are green and blue. My favourite film will always be Paddington 2 (no other film even comes close and I won’t take any other answers!) and my favourite sport is mini golf (if that counts?!?).
What is the best thing about being a Christian?
Fellowship. I’ve made friends for life through the church. Life certainly has its ups and downs but knowing God provides wisdom and guidance through the church is incredibly comforting.

How many year's have you been coming to Holiday Club and what do you like most about it?
I have been coming to holiday club since I was about a year old, I absolutely loved it, even then; although apparently I did fall asleep during one of the songs (not sure how that was possible)! My favourite part about holiday club has to be the songs. I love jumping around, dancing, shouting, clapping my hands and listening to the amazing band play. The most memorable moment for me has to be when David (the amazing previous presenter) poured a whole watering can of freezing cold water on me in front of everyone, I can still feel it to this day!!
What's your favourite Holiday club song and why?
My favourite song has to be Incredible, as I love playing my air-guitar and pretending to be a rock-star.
What do you do in your spare time, what hobbies do you have, have you got a talent or 'thing' you love doing?
In my spare time I love to hang out with my friends and catch up with them. Also, I like to be active and try to use up some of my energy. And I would say that my "thing" is wearing slightly crazy, colourful outfits in particular a pair of funky trousers!

I started going to Holiday Club when I was 9 years old and have helped a number of times over the years. My most memorable Holiday Club moment was seeing the team leaders eat foods which they really hated. Poor Naomi was made to eat tuna! That's dedication to your team!
What's your favourite Holiday club song and why?

I enjoy playing boardgames with my husband and two boys. I am currently loving going to the gym, lifting weights and meeting friends there. I love nature and have recently started growing our own vegetables. I can also speak Mandarin because our family lived in China for a number of years.
This year HC is all about being at a Christian surf camp, have you ever been to a christian camp and can you tell us a bit about it?
I remember going to a camp with our youth group. There were hundreds of other young Christians gathered together to learn more about Jesus. The worship times were amazing and I remember meeting with God in a special way at a number of those sessions. It was wonderful knowing that there were so many other young people who wanted to know God more, just like me, and that God was meeting with us, showing us how real He was, but also how much He loved each and every one of us.
Can you tell us a bit about your favourites - food, colour, films (child friendly) celeb, sport etc
For some strange reason, most of my favourite foods happen to be purple/red! Beetroot, red cabbage, black rice (it looks purple once it's cooked!) and purple sweet potato. If you haven't tried purple sweet potato you should, it's awesome! My favourite colour happens to be purple too - I wonder if there's a connection?!

My job was to help people on the large lake when stayed next to, so I was on a jet ski most of the day – fun! I also got to work with 100s of children of all different ages, talking to them about the stories of Jesus and how he changed my life.

What is the best thing about being a Christian?
First of all, Christians form a fantastic community! In church you will find a wide variety of people from all different ages and nations, all of them there because one reason: the fact that Jesus died for our sins on the cross. Some people think it’s a dull, boring place where you have to sit for hours listening to someone ‘yapping’ on about God – absolutely not! It is a fun, lively place where friends meet, where we look after one another and help each other out. Together we sing, laugh, cry, pray, eat… we even have a football team!
What do enjoy about coming to RBC?
RBC is a very important part of me and my family’s lives. It’s our wider family. We come here to share and celebrate all the amazing things in our lives. Every holiday club is different. I am most looking forward to meeting all the children who decided to spend their time with us: some of them coming back (because it’s so awesome), and welcoming some for the first time.
