"building a vibrant,
christ-centred community with a vision for extending his kingdom"
A very warm welcome to Ruislip Baptist Church! We're delighted you're here! If you're new to us, then why not say hello?
RBC is situated in the community of Ruislip Manor in the suburbs of north-west Greater London. Our church family includes people of all ages and diverse backgrounds. We are looking to worship God and serve Him, aiming to help other people to know Jesus Christ, and encouraging each other in our life together as God’s people.
We'd love you to join us in person for our services on a Sunday. Have a read below to see how our Sunday services work, and how we're continuing to work hard to keep you as safe as possible. For our deaf community, the first and third Sunday morning services of the month are BSL signed.
Each week, we'll provide an edited version of our service, including the sermon, for you to watch when you like! You can see them on our Service Videos page.
If you'd like to download the audio of the sermon to listen to on the move, you can do that too. Just go to our Sermon Audio page.
If you'd like to find out more about how you can access church remotely, or find a church in your area, we'd love to help. Please contact us.
join us on a sunday!
Our Sunday morning services are now open for you to attend. We've relaxed the rules, including the removal of the need for you to book, whilst preserving a safer environment for those who are not quite ready to be more relaxed just yet.
For now, face coverings must continue to be worn by all adults when you come in - and we'll have hand sanitiser for you to use too.
The rear seats of the church will be reserved for those who wish to maintain 2-metre distance from others and to wear a face covering for the duration of the service. You can enter the building via a separate door, and will be able to leave the building first. These spaces will need to be pre-booked via our Events Page. Bookings open on Tuesdays at 9.30am, and close on a Friday at 9am.
However, you can also arrive without booking! If you do that, you'll be sitting in one of our lower pews and you can remove your face covering when you reach your seat. We ask you leave a person's-width between you and the next group along. For now, we'll also ask you to leave church in a staggered fashion, and wear your face covering whilst doing so. We are monitoring the ventilation in the building to ensure it is safe for face coverings to be removed.
Our children and youth groups will not be socially-distanced, nor will young people be required to wear face-coverings. Children and young people will join us in the main service at the start, and then leave for their groups as directed.
We hope this provides the ability for you, however you're feeling about the relaxation of restrictions, to join us in worship. If you'd like any more details, or need any clarification please contact us.
We're also running Evening Services in our Main Hall at 6.30pm. If you'd like to book socially-distanced seating for that too, you can also book that in the same way as the morning service. Or just turn up to sit with others!
See you soon! And thank you for your support in making our services as safe as possible.
RBC IS A SAFE SPACE, even if your home is not.
1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men experience domestic abuse in their lifetime. Home isn't safe for everyone and during lockdown many victims may have been restricted from seeking help. If you’re experiencing abuse or know anyone who is, Ruislip Baptist Church, in partnership with UKSaysNoMore, has opened a Safe Space where people can go to find support and call a helpline.
It might be that you're just looking to find out more - about life, and who God is.
At Ruislip Baptist Church, we would love to help you in your search. You'd be very welcome to our services, events - or just contact us for a chat. We'd be very happy to talk, listen or help in any way we can.
